I spent some time this afternoon with former Coach Jim Sivert
of Tech High School. His daughter, Mary Elaine (Sivert) Clark was just diagnosed
with breast cancer which is well advanced. The docs are trying to determine how
best to treat her. It appears that they will do 6 months of heavy dose of chemo
and followup with radiation. She lives in Florida, and he and Jacky will be traveling
to her home probably within the next few days. Please pray for her, and also
pass this request along to others who might pray and also make a request that
your church place her on its prayer list. She is in good spirits and great attitude.
She is a fighter.

Just received this photo location from Billie Jean (Barnes) Forman's son
She reasentally had something similar to a stroke and
was left blind. He says she has good day when she can see a little
and days when she can't see. They have set up this system for her to
move about the house. She follows a string to places she needs to go to.
I'm sure she would love to heard from some of you.

We didn't know his likes, however, we must have hit the nail on the head, as he
called Candy to let her know how much he appreciated it. It also had a NASCAR

doing well. Hospice has been called in to help the family out.
Robert goes home around 4 o'clock when one of his children come, and then comes
back for the night. Barbara is in a great deal of pain, which they are trying
to control. If you are in the area, please stop by to speak to Robert, I'm
sure it would help pass the time for him.

An interesting note,, I got as email!
Easter is early this year.
Easter is always the 1st Sunday after the 1st full moon after the Spring Equinox (which is March 20).
This dating of Easter is based on the lunar calendar that Hebrew people used to identify passover,
which is why it moves around on our Roman calendar.
Based on the above information, Easter can actually be one day earlier (March 22); that is rare.
Here's the interesting information.
This year is the earliest Easter any of us will ever see the rest of our lives!
And only the most elderly of our population have ever seen it this early (95 years old or above).
And none of us have ever, or will ever, see it a day earlier! Here's the facts:
1) The next time Easter will be this early (March 23) will be the year 2228 (220 years from now).
The last time it was this early was 1913 (so if you're 95 or older, you are the only ones that were around for that!).
2) The next time it will be a day earlier, March 22, will be in the year 2285 (277 years from now).
The last time it was on March 22 was 1818. So, no one alive today has or will ever see it any earlier than this year!
