Hello Everyone!

Sorry we are so late updating the Web information on my Dad (Bill).
He has been in surgery nearly all day
It is currently 11:45 PM on Thursday night and we just got home.

Here is a summary of the day’s events.

05:30 AM - Arrived at St. Francis
08:30 AM - Dad Went down to Surgery
12:00 PM - Update call from Doctor. All looks well (They decided to do all 4 main arteries)
02:30 PM - We get to see him. They are monitoring him very close.
They are not happy with the amount of blood drainage from his temporary drain tube.
05:30 PM - They call us back in and decide to re-examine the work. There is still too
much blood draining from his heart. They fully explained this needed procedure to Dad
and he seems to understand. He was aware of us in the room, but still semi conscious.
06:00 PM - Dad goes back into surgery
08:30 PM - Doctor comes in to waiting room to see us and informs us Dad did Great!
The problem was a very small leak at the anurizium repair.
They re-sew it and monitor it closely
09:30 PM we leave hospital for the night and come home - Dad's vital signs are Great!
He just needs to rest and they will start to disconnect everything early tomorrow.
Big Thanks for all of the Prayers and Visits. Mom spent the night there and we will
return early tomorrow. Just remember it seems like he had 2 surgeries today.

       Dear Mary:
The latest plans for son's cancer: He goes to D.R. Anderson Hospital, in Houston, Nov 29,
for evaluation, then back home to Atlanta. He will return to Anderson Dec 6 for surgery and I plan
       to be there.
He is getting lots of prayers and will have the best doctors.
We will live with what ever happens.
Thanks for the e-mail. John & Marlene
