Mary Nell, you must be psychic! Things are not going well for Charley.
His doctor has put us in the hands of Hospice and they are wonderful.
They are taking care of all meds, medical equipment, etc. and he will
have a nurse as often as seven days a week, if necessary. This means I
won't have to be dragging him out to the doctors anymore. He is thankful
for that. We just take one day at a time and know that everything that
happens to us is in God's hands. Thanks so much for being "in tune" with
my feelings even though we can't see each other to get and give live hugs!
I appreciate you so very much!
   Love,

Updates on the web page..
I've had a couple of weeks of 'computer-troubles' and the a couple
weeks of "server-outages". This is the first, I've able to do anything
on the Tech web page. To bring you up to date...
I've removed the appearences of the "email addresses" and replaced them
with a "Click for EMAIL". Hopefully this will stop some of the 'Bots"
that look for email address on webpages.
If every one will take a look at their information, and send themself
an email from the webpage, that will verify that the info is correct.
Please let me know if I have anything wrong.

Between now and the near future, I plan to remove the 'photos' from
the 50th Class reunion. They take up about 50 meg of disk space, and I
figure everyone that wants to see them, already has.
I you need more time to download any of them,,, let me know and I'll
be slower taking them down.

We've been doing some talking about changing the "EAT-OUT" at Leonards
to another location. Give us some input! We want to meet when and
where, it is most convient for those wanting to come.
I missed posting several important items on the gossip page, I apologize,
and will try to back up and post them ASAP

I intended to write to y'all earlier this morning and got distracted.
My daughter, Denise, talked to her brother-in-law, Caitlin's grandfather, last night. Caitlin is on life support;
she cannot breathe on her own now.
Please pray for the young mother that she might have the strength to do what is best for this baby.
She's 8 months old and has spent about 6 months of her young life in the hospital.
When and if all of her problems were corrected, she would still have no quality of life to look forward to.
The prognosis for the rest of her life is quite bleak.
Thanks for all the prayers. Please continue them.

Bill,
I can't seem to locate the website for the class of 1952. Must have it written incorrectly.
I have had some requests from members of your class as to whether or not you all are welcome to attend our
Fiftieth Reunion. Of course you are. I just don't have addresses for your class to send out the information to
them so thought I would locate some on the website and invite them that way as well as those from your class
passing via word of mouth. If anyone would like the complete info, they can e-mail me or call me at home.
Please accept this as your personal invitation to attend the upcoming Fiftieth Reunion for the Tech Class of 1953.
The reunion is to be held on Saturday, September 27, 2003, from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. at
The Pickering Center
7771 Poplar Pike
Germantown, TN
We will have a catered meal from Leonard's to include meal, dessert and beveragesand the cost is 18.00 per person.
Dress is casual. We did not mail out the information sheet to your class as we do not have all the addresses and do not have
finances to do a mass mailing for all the surrounding classes. We are hoping that through e-mails and "word of
mouth" that most of your class as well as any others who wish to attend, will receive the information.

Email request for help     Give Sam Gentry a call if you you know someone?
Bill:
Can we help Tom Moxley, class of '47? He collects Tech yearbooks. He
needs a 1951 and is willing to pay for it. He's a good guy, who retired
from the MPD, so a lot of guys from Tech know him. Could you put
something on our web site about this? Thanks.
Sam
